DESCRIPTION:  \n  \nOur annual Stonebridge Men’s Club October Feast celebration will be held on Monday\, October 26\, at 7:00 PM in the Clubhouse Ballroom. \nFor our entertainment\, our own Larry Wolfert will present “The Comedy of Sebastian Maniscalco.” Sebastian consistently seizes the moment\, articulating his thoughts openly\, honestly\, and without reservation. His comedic style incorporates rhetorical questions such as “Why would you do that?” “What’s wrong with people?” and “Aren’t you embarrassed?” As a natural storyteller with acute self-awareness of his innate talent\, he exemplifies exceptional comedic artistry. This event promises an engaging evening of dining and entertainment. \nThis year\, we will once again use B. Bistro Caterers. The menu will include: Grilled Bratwurst with Sauerkraut; Sauerbraten Meatballs; German Chicken Schnitzel; Braised Red Cabbage and Apples; Warm German Potato Salad; complemented by Garden Tossed Salad and a selection of Dinner Rolls with Butter. We will be providing soda and water. The event will be BYOB\, so please bring your preferred drinks. \nFor vegetarians\, we will provide grilled vegetarian sandwiches along with other vegetarian options on the menu. Upon registration\, please indicate your vegetarian dish choice and include your name. \nThe event will cost $20.00\, with the club providing a subsidy. Please make your check for $20.00 (NO CASH!) payable to Stonebridge Men’s Club and drop it in our mailbox slot near the concierge desk in the Clubhouse\, or pay via Venmo @Stonebridge-MensClub by Tuesday\, October 20\, 2026.  \nPlease respond by the deadline. \nPlease remember to wear your Men’s Club T-shirt. \nOne final item: we need six (6) volunteers to serve the food. Jimmy Scalia will be presenting “ Johnny Carson – A Thirty-Year Look” on Monday\, November 16\, at 7:00 PM. \nAs you may recall\, Jimmy Scalia delivered several presentations that were well received by members of the Stonebridge Club. These included: The Apollo Theatre; The Brill Building; Bobbi Darin; Music Roots in New Jersey; and the Italian American Songbook. Please sit back\, relax\, and enjoy this evening’s entertainment\, presented on the live screen. \nJohnny Carson was a singular talent in the history of television. Throughout his career as an actor and comedian\, he received numerous awards\, including the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1992 and the Kennedy Center Honors in 1993. Jimmy will provide an overview of the many guests who appeared on the show\, including singers\, dancers\, comedians\, actors\, and politicians\, as well as its remarkable animal segments. We must not forget “Carnac\, The Magician.” \nFor your snacking pleasure\, we will offer a variety of Danish pastries and muffins as well as coffee\, tea\, and water to quench your thirst. \nThis is a Men’s Club members-only event. Please remember to wear your Men’s Club T-shirt.
