Our Community is our members, our immediate neighbors, the wider community including those we serve through our charitable outreach.  The Men’s Club resumed the Charity Golf Outing after a 2 year Covid-generated hiatus.  Next outing information will be listed on the Events page and in the Posts sidebar.

Our Charitable Outreach

Donations from fiscal 2022-2023 In-Person Events

Able to restore in-person events, the Men’s Club restarted the ‘Jersey’ Joe Pavlichko Memorial Golf Outing in August 2022 after a 2-year covid-related shutdown.  As a result, contributions of nearly $5,000 were distributed.  Recipients include: for special needs children, Monroe Special Sports, Monroe Special Strides, Children’s Voice Foundation; Breast Cancer funding through the Stonebridge Women’s Club; Prostate Cancer funding through the American Cancer Society; Lyon’s/Menlo Park Veteran’s Homes aimed at the needs of the individual veterans; Ronald McDonald House; Scholarships for 1 male and 1 female Monroe High School Senior. Both Special Sports and Special Strides received checks at the November 2022 membership meeting and updated the membership on their good works..

In January 2024, Stonebridge Men’s Club President sent a letter of thanks to our Members for supporting the club’s charitable events.  We concentrate on local community organizations who do not house the structure for wide scale fund raising. Jan 2024 Thank You to Club Members

Thanks from 2022-2023

Every warrior has a next mission. We know that the transition to civilian life is a journey. And for every warrior, family member, and caregiver, that journey looks different.

We are here for their first step, and each step that follows. Because we believe that every warrior should have a positive future to look forward to. There’s always another goal to achieve, another mission to discover. We are their partner in that mission.

We Appreciate Thanks from Charitable Recipients

The Men’s Club is pleased to display thank you letters from recipients of our donations.  Just click the links to witness these expressions of appreciation.  The link  4 ThankYou Letters  groups 4 letters from 2020.  The Monroe Food Pantry had received particular attention in face of extra needs generated by the covid epidemic.  And, of course, we always want to honor our veterans who have sacrificed for us.  We continued our charitable outreach in the face of covid restrictions that had handicapped our fund raising events, but not our will.
